Master Jedis are blessed with the ability to draw insights and directions from meditation and the force. It’s not always easy and takes constant practice to master.
If you have not achieved this enlightenment consider the following exercise.
You are sitting in a dark movie theatre watching a movie of your life. The de intensity is rising up as the character has everything they need for their next big move…. the audience roars as our protagonist sits at a crossroad.
Close your eyes and listen – “What are they screaming at you to do?”
It’s always easy to know what our favorite hero should do next but when we’re the ones on the screen, the blindingly obvious choice gets drowned out by hesitation and the illusion that we have plenty of time.
Looking at your situation from a “third-person” perspective highlights a few universal things the audience is likely begging you to do:
When you get caught up in the stress of everyday life, it’s easy to feel like you’re just coping and surviving. But you are the director, writer, and lead actor all at once. The audience isn’t judging your mistakes—they are rooting for your comeback.
Today – Take a breath, cue the epic soundtrack, and do the one thing you’ve been putting off.
